Born and raised in Nanjing, China, Sally Sobek moved to California, United States in 2000 with her two young children. Sally became the Director and Owner of a notable art gallery in the Bay Area before building and nurturing a successful real estate investment and property management business. While being a savvy investor in U.S. equities, Sally is also committed to several different causes in her philanthropic efforts. She is a passionate environmentalist and animal rights advocate. Sally cares deeply for education and especially looks to support art, music, and sports in elementary, middle, and high schools internationally. Sally also believes in the profound importance of the sciences at top universities and programs for motivated students seeking PhDs.

Mark Lindquist
Dr. Chengyuan Press has held several positions in U.S. federal agencies including the NIH and FDA to build large-scale scientific and health programs and policies with a goal to turn scientific discoveries into health for all. She obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Toxicology from the University of Kansas following a B.S. Degree from the Sun Yat-sen University in China. She is also a member of the Parent-Teacher Association and actively contributes to events and activities a local elementary school in her community.
Vince is the Treasurer of the Foundation, utilizing his accounting and management skills. Vince is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in Kuwait before his honorable discharge. Vince has over a decade of experience in property management, including large commercial buildings, and is presently the Vice President and Secretary of his Las Vegas-based business.
Rebecca is a California registered Associate Marriage Family Therapist (#142141) after obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology program from Santa Clara University. She currently works with children, transitional age youth, family, and adults at Pacific Clinics in Northern California. Rebecca dedicates her work to mental health because of her love and passion to make positive impact on individual lives and fostering psychological wellness within the community.
Daniel Press serves the Foundation as its secretary after several years of serving as Secretary to another private entity. Daniel is a licensed attorney and currently works for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in its Washington DC office, and has advised a number of different organizations on Human Resources and legal compliance matters. Daniel is a strong advocate for elementary education and volunteers regularly at schools in his community.
Mark Lindquist directs the marketing and project development for Hartley Construction which he started with Nathaniel Hartley in 2010. His history in both the Architecture and Construction industry spans 40 years of project experience, which includes large industrial, retail and commercial complexes, historic renovations, architectural review, and code enforcement. Mr. Lindquist is Past President of the Associated General Contractors of California, and a long time Board Member and Past Chair of the Salvation Army of Alameda County.


Narudha Ben Yuhmin
Rudha, a Director of Engineering at Lam Research Inc., is a passionate entrepreneur classically trained in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University and UC Berkeley’s Engineering Leadership Professional Program. Currently focused on delivering value in the Semiconductor industry, Rudha is responsible for the Lam's CSBG Global Hardware and Systems Engineering team headquartered in Fremont CA. Rudha enjoys exercising with his family, watching his children play sports and supporting his community through volunteer and board member roles in sports and STEM education.
